In this chapter, Jesus is talking about sharing the Good News. He tells us to begin right where we are at. Although some are called to go to far away lands as missionaries, Jesus tells us to start where we are. He also says that if someone does not want to hear the message, then we ought to"quietly withdraw" not get louder, start an argument, or condemn people. Sharing the Gospel is our job, and what others do with what we share is between them and God. It's not our concern.
People may question our motives and even smear our reputation because of what we say and do. We can stand firm because the Spirit of God is with us.
Don't be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies.
People will not like us when we stand up for Jesus. Even family members will turn on us.
Start small. We don't need to begin by tackling a public enemy. We can begin by giving a cup of water to someone who is thirsty.

Be compassionate.
Care for one another.
Share the love of Jesus.
